Artigiano
La Bellanotte originated from a deep bond between the Guadagni-Benassi family and the region of Friuli. Ezio, a member of the Benassi family, had served in the Friuli region during the war. Decades later, during one of his visits to the Redipuglia Memorial, Ezio rediscovered a wine cellar in Cormons, Roncada, that was vividly etched in his memory. This encounter fostered a friendship with Antonio and his son Corrado, locals from the village. Over the ensuing years, the connection between their families deepened until 1982, when Benassi acquired the neglected estate. By 1985, the winery resumed production and sales of bulk wine, with Luciano playing a crucial role in managing the newly established La Bellanotte. After Luciano passed away in 2000, the proprietors, having returned to Tuscany, contemplated selling the business. However, Paolo Benassi rallied to revitalise this remarkable venture, breathing new life into a cherished legacy. Thus began a new chapter for La Bellanotte.
