Vinification: Cooling of the grapes to 10°-12°C in a conditioned environment, subsequent soft pressing, separation of the flower must from the coarse lees by static decantation overnight. Fermentation: in new French oak barriques in a temperature-controlled environment for a period of about 15 days at a temperature of 20°- 22° C. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine remains on the lees, with periodic stirring (Bâtonnage) until spring. Malolactic fermentation is partial: only half of the barriques carry it out.

Color: Intense straw yellow.
Bouquet: It presents an intense and complex bouquet with fruity notes, such as yellow apple and pineapple, and elegant hints given by aging, such as spices and vanilla.

Col d'Orcia is renowned for its iconic Moscadello, Brunello, and Rosso wines from Montalcino. With a rich winemaking tradition, the estate is located at the base of the hills that slope down from Sant’Angelo in Colle to the Orcia Valley. Under the majestic gaze of Mount Amiata, archaeological findings of Kàntaros—a type of wine cup—indicate that viticulture has thrived here since Etruscan times. From just a few hectares of vineyards in 1973, the estate has grown to 140 hectares, 108 of which are dedicated to Brunello, making it the third-largest producer of Brunello in Montalcino. Since 1973, the estate has been owned by the Marone Cinzano family, and it became the sole property of Count Francesco Marone Cinzano in 1992, who has managed it with dedication and pride ever since.
