Hunting and Court, Pheasant Ragout. The pheasant (Phasianus colchius), which was imported from the East by the Romans, found very favorable soil in Tuscany. Here it easily reproduced in the undergrowth or in the sinks of fields, and it fed and still feeds today on the many seeds and berries that are abundantly rooted in our lands. These birds are coveted prey for our hunters. Excellent ragout to accompany penne, tagliatelle and farfalle.

tomato pulp, pheasant meat 35%, extra-virgin olive oil 100% italian extra-virgin olive oil, red onions, carrots, red wine, celery, parsley, salt, spices (coriander fruits – cinnamon – cloves – nutmeg – ginger) sultana, pine nuts, black pepper.
