From the organic oasis nestled in the Montalcino area comes a collaboration between Col d’Orcia and Franchi beekeeping, a local family-run business. The combination of the Franks’ traditional expertise and the vast unspoiled territory of Col d’Orcia provides the optimal conditions for the production of high quality organic honey.

II honey is produced by selected bees present at Col d’Orcia who graze on the different varieties of melliferous flowers and grasses in the vineyards. Among the varieties of flowers planted in past years are arable crops such as white mustard, alexandrine clover, phacelia, alfalfa and sulla. To these, add the wealth of native wildflowers such as arbutus, rosemary and ivy, found in the estate’s more than 50 hectares of woodland.
