Ingredients: Water, Sugar, Elderflower, Lemon Juice, Citric Acid.
Dilute 2 or 3 teaspoons per glass in water.

Elderberry is one of those plants popularly referred to as "blessed" that for centuries has pleasantly quenched the thirst of, strengthened, and often even healed young and old of all social classes.
It's no coincidence that in Carnia, there's the saying "il Savùt (elderberry in Friulian) al dà salùt" (literally, "the elderberry gives health"), and in Germany, elderberry is recognized as "the farmer's pharmacy."
In fact, elderberry, in addition to its very pleasant and distinctive flavor, has diuretic, anti-inflammatory, and intestinal cleansing properties; it's a stimulant; it facilitates skin perspiration; and it's a good source of mineral salts and vitamins. Elderberry plants are widespread in Friuli, in the plains, in the numerous groves scattered throughout the countryside along waterways, and at the edges of mountain forests.
Pecol Elderberry Syrup as the Base for Two New, Invigorating Drinks
Based on decades of experience growing and processing berries and medicinal plants, Pecol Farm has gone beyond the production of elderberry syrup to explore how it can be used as the base for two innovative drinks, one for summer (Sambrì) and one for winter (Sambrulè).
SAMBRI'
It's a natural thirst-quencher made with elderflower syrup and whitecurrant juice, which enhances its tonicity and thirst-quenching properties. Enjoyed cold or at room temperature, it quenches thirst and provides a wealth of vitamins and minerals. It contains no chemical additives, preservatives, or colorings.
It can be enjoyed neat (diluted in the optimal ratio of 1 to 7 with very cold water) or as a SPRITZ (water, ice, and white wine or Prosecco).
SAMBRULE'
It's a natural, non-alcoholic invigorating drink made with elderberry syrup. Enjoyed very hot, it combines the taste of a healthy drink rich in vitamins and minerals with the pleasant diffusion of warmth throughout the body. It contains no chemical additives.
It can be enjoyed straight (diluted 1 to 7 with very hot water) or CLASSIC (diluted with the berry infusion in the same proportion as the water). In both cases, it's also delicious SERVED WITH a few drops of grappa or rum.
These two beverages are also served, in their respective seasons, in the finest bars and cafés in Friuli.
